Race 2 No 7 BEHIND PLAYER
Following a maiden win at big odds two starts ago, he endured a luckless run last time out, racing three-wide without cover the entire trip. To his credit, he still stuck on bravely to finish fourth over this track and distance, beaten by only 2.5 lengths.
With a smoother run in transit this week, he looks capable of returning to the winner’s list in the cellar grade.
Race 3 No 1 SUPER BABY
He was the victim of an ill-judged ride last time out, where he was ridden quietly off the pace from a good draw and then steadied near the 1300m as the tempo slowed. Despite this, he finished strongly, closing well to secure fourth place over this distance on the Polytrack.
Now dropping back to Class 4, where he won by 4.75 lengths three starts ago, he looks well-positioned to secure a Top 3 finish this week.

Race 6 No 4 PACIFIC ATLANTIC
It’s best to overlook his last start, as he pulled up lame after the race. Instead, focus on his previous four starts, where he was placed twice and recorded the fastest final 400m sectional time on two occasions. Returning from a let-up, he appears primed to secure his first local win this week.
Race 8 No 4 PACIFIC VICTORY
He was far from disgraced first-up, making up significant ground from a rearward position to finish fifth over 1000m—a distance shorter than his ideal. Stripping fitter second-up, the rise in trip suits him well, and he shapes as a genuine knockout chance.
