Race 3 No 2 FLYING ACE

Blessed with an explosive turn of foot, he secured a solid fourth in the Group 1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize three starts ago and followed up with strong second and third-place finishes at Group 3 level.

KA YING RISING is most likely to be the favourite this week, but head-to-head stats suggest FLYING ACE may turn the tables with a 6lb weight advantage for a 1.25-length defeat in their last meeting.

Race 5 – 10 SUPER LEGENDS

His last start, a fifth-place finish, had hidden merit. Despite an awkward draw and traveling off the pace, he flashed home late with a strong final 400m sectional time.

The form has been further validated, as the second-place finisher, BALLISTIC WIN, went on to secure an easy win. This bodes well for him in his first-up run.

Race 2 No 5 SMART LEADER

His last start effort had hidden merit when he was steadied early to settle off the speed, before clocking the third fastest final 400m to finish eighth in a slowly run race over 1200m. He will relish dropping to Class 5 where he boasts a great record and should deliver an improved performance.

Race 9 No 8 GENEVA

He has been placed in all four starts and finished a solid third over 1400m last time, showcasing tactical speed— a shift from his usual style of coming from behind. With plenty of speed in the field this week, he is well-positioned to break through if he reverts to his previous racing pattern.
