Race 1 No 1 Star North
He compromised his chances at the start of his Class 5 debut 41 days ago when he was slow out of the gates and lost significant ground. This early setback forced him to settle off the pace, but he rallied well to finish sixth over this track and distance.
Since then, he has trialled impressively alongside horses with much higher ratings. With a clean jump this week, he looks ready to make amends.
Race 2 No 6 Legend Sixty-Three
Despite being overlooked in the market on debut, he put in a commendable performance, sticking on well off a frantic tempo to finish second over 1200m at this track. The form has since proven solid, with the third-placegetter, BIG RETURN, going on to win comfortably in Novice company.
With that run under his belt, he now looks ideally weighted to score second-up.

Race 5 No 3 The Shadow
He was unlucky not to win his last start, traveling three-wide off the speed and finishing strongly in the straight to take second, just a neck shy of victory. Facing a similar field this week, he should have a good chance to secure the win with a bit more luck in running.
Race 7 No 3 Engine Start
He raced off the speed and closed strongly to finish sixth over this distance on turf last time out. Adding to the intrigue, he pulled up lame after the race, making his performance even more compelling. Returning to the Polytrack is a positive factor, as he has a 50 percent strike rate over this track and distance.
