Five-year-old galloper ROGER ROGER will be looking to double his win tally in the 1100m Class 4 contest at Ipoh on Saturday.
Finishing in the top four at all seven Malaysian runs, ROGER ROGER has been a consistent performer for the Sivan Veerapen stable, posting his sole victory in a 1020m Maiden at Selangor back in May.
Arriving in the country following five unplaced efforts in Singapore, ROGER ROGER has been highly competitive against Class 4 opposition, recording three minor placings from four starts. The gelding will race on the Ipoh circuit for the first time and looks likely to bounce back into winning form.
Five-year-old galloper YOU THINK SO should continue his consistent run of form when he lines up in the 1020m Class 4 contest on Track Two at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Arriving winless from nine appearances in Singapore, YOU THINK SO has established a good record in Malaysia with two wins and three placings from six starts. The gelding is yet to finish out of the top two in four runs on Track Two, which included successive victories back in April and May of this year.
Stepping up to the mile for the first time three weeks ago, YOU THINK SO finished third and should benefit from the distance drop. Having previously won while carrying 59kg, he appears well-positioned to regain winning form this weekend.
