Race Preview

RACE 1: L’EUROPE MAIDEN STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM STRASBOURG RACE 2) – 1400M – TIME: 17:56 PRIZE MONEY: EUR23000

Summary: KHADIDJA (7) has posted two attractive performances thus far and seems to have
some ability. She ran 2nd at Deauville last time and is confidently selected to go one more. HAZA
(1) ran a much improved race last time when 2nd over 1400m and should give plenty cheek all the
way home. Bright chance. FILE INDIENNE (5) has scope to build on her average debut and can
be expected to get much closer this time. LICHTSTERN (4) caught the eye when making his local
debut last time. Huge place claims.

SELECTIONS
KHADIDJA (7) – HAZA (1) – FILE INDIENNE (5) – LICHTSTERN (4)

RACE 2: DONON HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM STRASBOURG RACE 3) – 1400M – TIME: 18:28 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000

Summary: VIADEIPISPINI (8) is taking time for the maiden win but has been not far off in some
competitive Handicaps of late. Today looks to be his day to pass the finish line first. GRAND ANGEL
(4) was a winner three starts back and has fair form since. She can be forgiven for her last run
when 6th at Clairefontaine. She has each way claims. XXARINE (5) has more of a place chance
than a winning one but must be factored into all betting permutations. WIKENDA (3) has won three
races, is never far adrift the action and can go very close in a race like this. Bright chance.

SELECTIONS
VIADEIPISPINI (8) – GRAND ANGEL (4) – XAARINE (5) – WIKENDA (3)

RACE 3: QATAR PRIX DU PIN (GROUP 3) (TURF TRACK) (FROM PARISLONGCHAMP RACE 1) – 1400M – TIME: 19:23 PRIZE MONEY: EUR80000

Summary: EXXTRA (2) has won once and finished 2nd in 3 of her 4 starts this year. She filled the
runners-up behind the undefeated Lazzat in the Group I Prix Maurice de Gheest over 1300m at
Deauville recently and needs only to produce a similar performance to resume winning ways.
SAJIR (1) also acquitted himself well (4th) in a Group I event last time so should fight for victory.
SHARTASH (7), the highest-rated runner in the race, and consistent TOPGEAR (5), whose
reappearance in a Group III race was encouraging, are competitive for a spot on the podium.

SELECTIONS
EXXTRA (2) – SAJIR (1) – SHARTASH (7) – TOPGEAR (5)

RACE 4: DU RHIN HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM STRASBOURG RACE 5) – 2000M – TIME: 19:40 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000

Summary: AKBAR (5) is lightly raced, competed in Germany last time and back home, can go very
close to getting it all right. He is the firm first choice. DIAMOND STAR (3) has been running fair
races and earning cheques for her patrons. Her last two were in Handicaps and she looks set for
a huge performance. Bright chance. SKADOOSH (4) can be forgiven for the last run when 9th at
Chantilly but rather judged on penultimate victory at Vichy over 2000m. Big runner. RUBY IN THE
ROCKS (2) has a first four chance and a must include in all bets.

SELECTIONS
AKBAR (5) – DIAMOND STAR (3) – SKADOOSH (4) – RUBY IN THE ROCKS (2)

RACE 5: GRAND PRIX REGION DU GALOP-G.CAMPRUBI LISTED STAKES (TURF TRACK) (FROM STRASBOURG RACE 6) – 2100M – TIME: 20:15 PRIZE MONEY: EUR60000

Summary: BOLTHOLE (1) has been lining up in some hugely competitive Listed and Group races
and been acquitting himself with aplomb. His last run was at Compiegne over 2000m in Listed
class. Bright win chance in a competitive field. DILAWAR (7) is good and already notched up six
victories. He has been competing in tough Listed races in his last four and been in the shake up.
He has strong claims. Big chance. MILLIONAIRE (6) brings piping hot form into the race from
Germany and is obviously here for business. Bright win claims. DAR TOUNGI (1) boasts useful
form and should be right there at the finish. Include and respect for all bets.

SELECTIONS
BOLTHOLE (2) – DILAWAR (7) – MILLIONAIRE (6) – DAR TOUNGI (1)

RACE 6: QATAR PRIX FOY (GROUP 2) (TURF TRACK) (FROM PARISLONGCHAMP RACE 3) – 2400M – TIME: 20:33 PRIZE MONEY: EUR130000

Summary: IRESINE (3) lines up in this Group II event for the fourth consecutive year, bidding to
reclaim the title he won in 2022. FEED THE FLAME (2) is a high-class performer who finished 2nd
in Group I over this distance in June. They could find themselves fighting for race honours.
CONTINUOUS (4), who was 5th in last year’s Group I Arc de Triomphe in his only visit to
ParisLongchamp, and ultra-consistent ZARIR (1) aren’t taken lightly and could make life difficult for
the aforementioned principals.

SELECTIONS
IRESINE (3) – FEED THE FLAME (2) – CONTINUOUS (4) – ZARIR (1)

RACE 7: FONDATION CLAUDE POMPIDOU HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM STRASBOURG RACE 7) – 2350M – TIME: 20:50 PRIZE MONEY: EUR18000

Summary: A very weak race form-wise. SOUND OF SIXTIES (4) has scope for most improvement
and ran well when 5th last time out but did struggle on debut over this track and trip.NEKOLETO
(1) and LALOU (2) have their good recent runs in claimers and still have to show that they can win
handicaps off their current marks. MR RIEM (9) has recent form in handicaps and can get involved
with the finish again.

SELECTIONS
SOUND OF SIXTIES (4) – NEKOLETO (1) – LALOU (2) – MR RIEM (9)

RACE 8: QATAR CARRUS HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM PARISLONGCHAMP RACE 4) – 2000M – TIME: 21:15 PRIZE MONEY: EUR53000

Summary: CALAS (2) has maintained his form and consistency in 4 outings off his current mark,
and proven his competitiveness in 3 starts at Quinte+ level, since winning a Saint-Cloud handicap
5 starts back. He is awkwardly stationed in stall No 11 but is undeniably capable of winning in this
grade. NOIR (3), like the selection, possesses a smart turn of foot and retains sufficient means to
play a leading role. CHIAREGGIO (14), who shouldn’t be hastily condemned for a disappointing
last start when unable to deliver his challenge, and ultra-consistent THUNDERSPEED (6) have
legitimate winning chances too. NEPALAIS (10), LOU MAN (11), whose form with this headgear
fitted has improved, and GIRAFFE (9), after an encouraging Vichy comeback, have podium
aspirations.

SELECTIONS
CALAS (2) – NOIR (3) – CHIAREGGIO (14) – THUNDERSPEED (6)

RACE 9: COLLECTIVITE EUROPEENNE HANDICAP (TURF TRACK) (FROM STRASBOURG RACE 8) – 1400M – TIME: 21:35 PRIZE MONEY: EUR18000

Summary: A very open handicap. LEX LUTHOR (6) has done well at this course in the past and
was not disgraced in handicap in Germany last time out so could be of some value in this lucky last
race. KARINAS DREAM (1) flopped on the PSF last time out but did win his penultimate start and
should be a threat back on the turf. YOU’VE GOT SAIL (4) is capable of better and deserves some
respect. DROIT DE PAROLE (2) is in good form and has a winning chance.

SELECTIONS
LEX LUTHOR (6) – KARINAS DREAM (1) – YOU’VE GOT SAIL (4) – DROIT DE PAROLE (2)

RACE 10: QATAR PRIX VERMEILLE (GROUP 1) (TURF TRACK) (FROM PARISLONGCHAMP RACE 5) – 2400M – TIME: 21:57 PRIZE MONEY: EUR600000

Summary: A very competitive Group 1. SPARKLING PLENTY (5) was not disgraced when third
behind rival in OPERA SINGER (9) at Goodwood last month. That rival made all the running to
score well but this longer distance will play to the strength of SPARKLING PLENTY (5) at the finish.
BLUESTOCKING (2) always gives of her best and will be fighting for top honours yet again.
SURVIE (6) is proven over this distance and deserves respect as well.

SELECTIONS
SPARKLING PLENTY (5) – OPERA SINGER (9) – BLUESTOCKING (2) – SURVIE (6)

RACE 11: QATAR PRIX NIEL (GROUP 2) (TURF TRACK) (FROM PARISLONGCHAMP RACE 6) – 2400M – TIME: 22:40 PRIZE MONEY: EUR130000

Summary: The unbeaten in three starts LOOK DE VEGA (1) was a good winner of the Group 1
Jockey Club in June. He returns from a break but does look hard to oppose if getting this longer
distance. SOSIE (6) chased home that rival and was third that day but has since won a Group 1
over this track and trip so will give him a fight. DELIUS (2) has only lost once in four starts and that
was behind SOSIE (6) and he will be after revenge. AMBIENTE FRIENDLY (5) did not show his
best last time out but could contest the finish.

SELECTIONS
LOOK DE VEGA (1) – SOSIE (6) – DELIUS (2) – AMBIENTE FRIENDLY (5)
