Talented sprinter GAMESTONKS appears ideally placed to chalk up his eleventh Malaysian victory when he steps out in the 1200m Metro A contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
GAMESTONKS will be coming off a career best performance when he ended the unbeaten run of smart four-year-old Antipodean, who was aiming for his eighth successive win. The eight-year-old was heavily supported when leading throughout to score by half a length over the 1300m trip.
Currently rated as Malaysia’s third highest galloper, GAMESTONKS has scored twice in three starts at the track and distance and is on target for back-to-back victories.
Talented performer GOLDEN PEGASUS was denied his first Group success a fortnight ago, but should quickly atone in the 1700m metro contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
GOLDEN PEGASUS has been one of the most progressive gallopers on the Malaysian circuit since joining the Wayne Lim stable earlier this year, posting three wins from five starts for the camp. The gelding came up a head short behind Antipodean in the G1 Selangor Gold Cup despite hitting the lead momentarily in the last 100m.
GOLDEN PEGASUS goes up 2kg from that performance and should prove hard to beat at his first run over the 1700m trip.
