France Form Sheet – 29 October

Race Preview

RACE 1: MONT-L’EVEQUE STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1900M – TIME: 19:35 PRIZE MONEY: EUR35000

Summary: GAMESTARS (4) won on his latest start over 1800m on his second start and looks like a progressive performer. He can score from FANG MICH (6) who won three starts ago in Germany and is capable of making the selection pull out all the stops. WITH STARS (7) is also worth considering and looks like the most sensible option for the each-way backers. WELCOME CHARLY (2) has plenty of ability and looks the best of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
GAMESTARS (4) – FANG MICH (6) – WITH STARS (7) – WELCOME CHARLY (2)

RACE 2: CROIX D’ANLEU STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1300M – TIME: 20:10 PRIZE MONEY: EUR34000

Summary: COREY BEACH (3) won last time on her second start and looks like a progressive filly. She can play a lead role and has a good deal more to come. EPSON BLUE CEN (6) will probably start as favourite and has some nice form so far. She was a decent fourth in a Group 3 race last time at this track in late September and can be competitive. HONEY STAR (5) won two starts ago at Deauville and can make the frame. GALLIUS (2) makes up the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
COREY BEACH (3) – EPSON BLUE CEN (6) – HONEY STAR (5) – GALLIUS (2)

RACE 3: ROUTE PRINCES HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1600M – TIME: 20:55 PRIZE MONEY: EUR53000

Summary: PTIT PEDRO (10) arrives after a more encouraging effort on the latest start at Deauville in late August when fifth in a Class 2 handicap. He can score at attractive odds. ZVAROSHKA (9) has a good racing weight and could be the main threat to the selection. She likes the surface and was a good second two starts ago in a Class 1 handicap at Deauville. FREJA (2) won on her penultimate start and looks like a sensible option each way. SIMPLY STRIKING (13) is also worth considering.

SELECTIONS
PTIT PEDRO (10) – ZVAROSHKA (9) – FREJA (2) – SIMPLY STRIKING (13)

RACE 4: RTE DINDON HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1600M – TIME: 21:30 PRIZE MONEY: EUR18000

Summary: ZELZALITA (1) has a good chance of landing this handicap despite having top weight to contend with. Her main rival could be HOT SUMMER (6) who ran a decent race at this track in mid-October when he was third in a Class 4 handicap. ERNAN CORTES (13) has eased in the weights and if he recaptures his best form he can be on the premises. LORD POST OFFICE (11) is also worth a mention.

SELECTIONS
ZELZALITA (1) – HOT SUMMER (6) – ERNAN CORTES (13) – LORD POST OFFICE (11)

RACE 5: ENCLOS KANG. HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1400M – TIME: 22:05 PRIZE MONEY: EUR23000

Summary: GIUSEPPE BALLOCCO (3) has been in good form of late and ran well at this track when last seen earlier this month over this distance when he was third. He can score from SEND WOOD (2) who shaped well when fifth last time at Craon and can be competitive despite not having an ideal draw. LORD OF DAY (14) ran well on the PSF last time and should be one for the each-way backers to look at. REDSIA FAL (10) is also one that can not be discounted.

SELECTIONS
GIUSEPPE BALLOCCO (3) – SEND WOOD (2) – LORD OF DAY (14) – REDSIA FAL (10)

RACE 6: RTE COQUINS HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) – 1600M – TIME: 22:40 PRIZE MONEY: EUR20000

Summary: KHABESA (17) is a course winner and was a good second at La Teste when last seen in late July. She will be ready to go after a short layoff and can be competitive from the foot of the weights. EXCITING (7) has not got an ideal draw but likes this surface and track and can be involved at the business end. TOTAL KNOCKOUT (3) looks like a good choice for the each-way backers to take seriously. D DAY MAN (14) is a previous course winner and warrants respect.

SELECTIONS
KHABESA (17) – EXCITING (7) – TOTAL KNOCKOUT (3) – D DAY MAN (14)
