Race Summary: A competitive starting race on a difficult card. SWEET CAKE has been very disappointing of late but does have a winning chance in this line-up. STRING OF LIGHTS is threatening to win a race and deserves respect. SERENDIPITOUS and FANTASY GIRL are both better than what they showed last time out and neither of them would be a surprise winner. GOTCHA BUZZ is not reliable but came close to winning last week and could go one better this time. TUNE AGAIN shows pace and might play a minor role.

Race Summary: OLIVER TWIST is knocking very loudly on the door with two good recent runner-up performances. He should go one better this time. ROLL OF THE DICE was consistent without winning in Gauteng and can fight out the finish yet again. AGAMEMNON has not been disgraced on this surface of late and could earn some minor money. COME ON YOU SPURS could run into a minor place at very best. MAYOR OF MERRIVALE has tended to lack a strong finish but could earn some money. SUPER CASANOVA ran well on local debut and should fight out the finish.

Race Summary: A weak race and anything is possible in this opening leg of the Pick 6. ANGEL OF MY HEART should improve back on the Polytrack and has a winning chance. LADY SONATINE is capable of improvement this longer distance. KAMARIA is better than her last run would suggest and is not out of it. ACCUMULATE has a place chance on best form. ONE WISH and stable companion BURN BRIGHT are both capable of improvement trying this distance. WELSH STARLET tries the Polytrack on local debut and could show vast improvement.

Race Summary: A competitive handicap. AADEHYA has been disappointing of late but this course and distance suits and he is well drawn. They have worked out how to ride EYJAFJALLAJOKULL and he is in very good form but will not find it easy to give weight and start away to these rivals. GREAT MELODY is an unpredictable fellow, but he is capable of scoring when in the right mood. COOL CAT returns from a break but could be a danger. MY AMI BEACH, ARTURO, GRADUATION TIME and MARQUEZ are all capable of getting involved with the finish and should all be included in the Pick 6. permutations.

Race Summary: THE MAURITIAN always gives of his best and the addition of blinkers this time could do the trick for him to get another deserved victory. LEDELL’S ECHO is very speedy and will try to make all. He does not go down easily and will fight all the way to the line. The track has been suiting front-runners recently which has not worked out for INHERIT THE RAIN. He will be doing his best work at the finish once again. JEWEL CAT is in good form and deserves respect. FAMILY LAW is better than his recent showings. DONNY TEE and DR FAUSTUS are capable of surprising.

Race Summary: Two quality fillies who are on recovery missions. HAPPY HOLLY has three narrow defeats behind rival SPLICETHEMAINBRACE and is weighted to get her revenge. HAPPY HOLLY may have needed her last run when returning from a break and trying the Polytrack for the first time. If allowed to stride she can make all the running. SPLICETHEMAINBRACE gives HAPPY HOLLY 8kg this time around but has beaten that rival all three times they have met. She did not act on a soft track last time out and is trying the Polytrack for the first time. CAN’T SAY NO reminded us that she has talent with a solid win last time out and is proven on the Polytrack so could in theory pick up the pieces if the two class fillies do not act on the surface.

Race Summary: CATCH YOUR BREATH impressed with blinkers last time out, drawing away for an easy win. The handicapper smacked her with a 7-point penalty which will make it tougher. WAZ WOUTER is at his best around this distance but is returning from a break. THUNDER MASTER will be doing his best work late and is not out of it. PEDRO, EUPHORIC and SCAMPTON all have form over this track and distance and deserve respect. BEAU KALA and EL ROMIACHI are both at the top of their games and could get into the mix. Recent maiden winners KAROO GOLD and ERIMITAGE are taking on some hard-knockers this time but could be better than rated.

Race Summary: A couple of these fillies and mares are in very good form. GET IT DONE has won three of her last four starts, including over this course and distance last time out. CICADIDAE is well drawn and likes the Polytrack so should be right there at the finish. LADY WRITER has been holding her form very nicely and will not go down without a fight for top honours in the race. LADY ZULTANITE goes well for her rider and is not out of it. GOLD FOR AFRICA is not reliable but does have a winning chance. CHRONICLESOFNANIA could be ready to pop up and run a decent race.
