Race Summary: COSMIC QUEEN attracted betting support on her good debut. She was in contention to win the race but stumbled badly. It is possible she would have won but for the stumble but that is open to debate. She can, however, recoup losses for her followers. PRETTY PRECIOUS did not show her best last time out at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. Her trainer is in very good form and she should fight out the finish on local debut. ALESIAN BEAU showed pace on debut and could do better this time. FIZZLY BUBBLY and GUN BARREL are making their debuts and deserve some respect if the money comes for them.

Race Summary: PIONEER SQUARE ran well in both his starts and should like this longer distance so gets the nod to score. ONE MORE STAR was ahead of rival PIONEER SQUARE when they first met but was behind him last time out. He should be right there at the finish yet again. More was expected from OBSIDIAN last time and the penny only dropped late. He could be looking for this distance and is not out of it. THE ULTIMATE KING makes his debut, but his trainer knows what is needed to win a race like this first time out. BAD MEDICINE is capable of improvement.

Race Summary: GLAMOROUS LADY has been runner-up in her last three starts. Hopefully she can go one better trying the longer straight. HAPPYINHEAVEN needed her last run and could show vast improvement. Her stable companions, LADY SABRINA and LADY WILLIAM, have only had one start each and are capable of improvement as well. ONO NO KOMACHI was not disgraced in her two starts and could contest the finish again. A lot more was expected from POPLAR PARK last time out but she was reported to be not striding out. She was not disgraced on debut so could bounce back to score. TUSCAN STAR showed improvement last time and has a winning chance.

Race Summary: GREATERIX is clearly going about things the right way and is improving with each run. He was impressive when scoring last time out and should prove the handicapper wrong and beat these runners. GUY GIBSON does not always show his best side but can contest the finish when in the right mood. WILD AT WAR is talented and will not go down easily. WAHEED was not disgraced last time out but has some ground to make on GREATERIX when they last met. Fillies KEY WORKER and DESTINY OF FIRE have ability and could earn some money.

Race Summary: An interesting race. DYCE is clearly the class act and sets the standard. He, however, has let the side down on occasion. WILLIAM ROBERTSON is reliable and won a nice race last time out and will be right there at the finish once again. MRS BROWNING and stable companion WINTER GREETING are both returning from a break but are talented and would not be surprise winners. TAIL OF THE COMET has lost his way of late, but you leave him out of bets at your peril. MOUNT PINATUBO bounced back with a nice win last time out and could also make the frame.

Race Summary: ALMOND SEA is very fast and remains unbeaten in three starts over this distance. She returns from a break but it will take a good one to catch her if she is at her best. TIME FO ORCHIDS is holding her form and will challenge for top honours yet again. ICE STAR won nicely over this distance last time out but tackles tougher this time. TROPPO VELOCE could make the frame. EXCHANGE STUDENT is talented and beat rival TIME FO ORCHIDS when they last met but did not show that form last time out when tried around the turn. ELEGANT ICE showed of what she is capable with an easy win last time out but she may cut her throat if she tries pacing it with ALMOND SEA.

Race Summary: GREETING MY MASTER continues to do very well for trainer Alec Laird. He was an easy winner last time out but did pick up an 8-point penalty. His task is tougher this time but he will be in receipt of 11kg from MAIN DEFENDER. More was definitely expected from MAIN DEFENDER last time when returning from a break. His task this time is not easy but he would not be a surprise winner. PURPLE PITCHER and PUERTO MANZANO are capable of much better than what they have shown recently and could do better this time. PURE PREDATOR has some fair form and has a place chance. ATTICUS FINCH and HOME OF THE BRAVE are both in good form and are not out of it.

THE FUTURIST is very unreliable but does have ability and his rivals cannot allow him a soft lead. IMPERIAL MASTER is holding form and should contest the finish yet again.

WHITE PEARL is distance suited and could make all if in the right mood. CAPTAIN PEG, MISS HANNIGAN and IN THE BEGINNING are all in good form and capable of getting involved in the finish.
