He closed off strongly to finish an unlucky sixth on debut, having been held up between the 400m and 300m. With a clearer run, it’s reasonable to believe he would have secured a Top 3 finish, especially considering he was only 2.75 lengths behind the winner.
With that run under his belt, he looks a strong contender in what appears an average field this week.

Despite the fast pace working against his preferred racing style, he showed notable improvement last time out, finishing a solid fifth with the addition of blinkers. Notably, the opposition in that race appeared stronger than what he faces this week.
Having dropped in ratings since beginning his Hong Kong career in Class 3, he now finds himself well-placed to capitalize in Class 4

He was far from disgraced in Class 4 last time, charging home strongly to finish third over this track and distance, despite travelling wide throughout. With the drop to Class 5, he is well-placed to return to the winner’s list.

His sixth-place finish last time was better than it looks, as he endured a wide trip off the pace but still produced a strong late surge, finishing only 3.75 lengths behind the winner. With a smoother run this week, he could make amends
