Race 3 No 7 COLOURFUL WINNER
His last-start seventh-place finish was better than it appears, as he had to be urged early to settle on the speed from a wide draw. The early exertion took its toll late, and he finished seventh, beaten by 3.5 lengths over this distance.
As a son of Frosted, the switch to the AWT surface for the first time should work in his favour, making him a runner to watch.
Race 9 No 1 MICKLEY
In his most recent outing, he was severely held up in the straight and couldn’t be fully tested in the final 100m. Given this significant setback, his effort can be considered solid, finishing just four lengths behind the winner over this track and distance.
A strong contender for this year’s 4YO series, he is well-placed to make amends with a smoother run this week.

Race 4 No 8 INVINCIBLE LUCKY
He signalled his potential with a fast-finishing second last time out, recording the second-fastest final 400m sectional time in 22.68 seconds. Now ready to peak third-up, he faces an average Class 4 field, giving him a golden opportunity to break through.
Race 7 No 4 YOUNG CHAMPION
He comes off a luckless fifth on HKIR day, where he was held up from the 250m to the 200m. Had he endured a smoother run, he likely would have finished in the Top 3, as he was beaten by just 1.75 lengths. With better luck in running, he could cause an upset against some of the more fancied rivals.
