Summary: DREAM INDEX (6) hasn’t particularly set the tracks alight but hails from a strong yard and can show vast improvement in this. BREIZHY BOY (1) ran a cracker on debut and should be a lot wiser for task at hand. He will be a big player for top honors. SHAMAKI (10) is nicely bred and needs to be respected for a powerful yard. HERACLES (7) can take a step forward from his debut effort.

Summary: CHANTAL (2) ran with plenty of promise on debut and would have tightened up a significant amount which will hold her in good stead for this outing. She now gets the services of Maxime Guyon and she should go close. HAPPY HOURS (1) finished right behind the top pick on debut and is another who should have more to offer at the second time of asking. CAPE JEWEL (11) is a very nicely bred debutant who could strike and needs to be followed. MISTY QUALITY (5) should have come on with that experience under her belt and could earn.

Summary: In a race that isn’t going to take a great deal of winning, FELICIA STORM (4) could come out on top. She produced her best effort two starts back and now drops into a claiming race where she is well treated. KING RETURN (2) has run in some stronger races in the past so could enjoy being in calmer waters which could yield in him showing up positively. BOMBONERA (6) is the only one to have tasted success in this field which could aid her in the business end of proceedings. She is capable of a lot more than what she is producing. LAHOMI (9) runs a good race every now and then and isn’t one to ignore for minor positions.

WAKABURN (1) hadn’t been seen for a while but returned with a cracking effort and will now strip a fitter horse for this contest. He demands the utmost of respect. GOLD INDEX (8) has been running to a high level and should be right in the thick of things. ZABEEL LIGHT (10) is an up and coming youngster who will continue to improve with racing and should feature for the minor spots.

Summary: DAVALLIA (13) drops into the claiming class for the first time, and if emulating her penultimate start when she was fourth in a handicap at Deauville in late November, she is the one to beat. KEY TO VICTORY (5) can not be overlooked in this class of race. He won two starts ago and can be forgiven for his last run when out of the frame. MARVIN OF SUCCESS (2) looks like the best option each way. BELL BOY (3) heads the remainder.

HERODION (10) could be the main danger, he has been placed on his last four starts and looks ready to win again. ACHKI (9) is one to include in all of the place bet permutations. PALIMERO (3) is becoming well-treated after several unplaced runs of late. He is capable of being on the premises.

CRACK CITY (9) has been in good shape recently and can again have a say in proceedings. UN PLUS UNE (3) is one for the each way players to take seriously.

He will be expected to get a hat-trick of wins ahead of MCLEAN HOUSE (10) who was back in fifth in the Class 2 race last month on his debut in France, having won five times on the level when trained by Andrew Balding in the UK. NATIONAL SERVICE (6) warrants respect and can be involved as can MATURLO (9) who heads the remainder.
