RACE 1: BELLABRE STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM PAU RACE 1) – 1400M – TIME: 18:32 PRIZE MONEY: EUR18000

Summary: SKYLIGHT BROCHARD (1) made the running on his latest start when second, he was caught close to the finish at Chantilly in December over 1400m. He can make amends and go one place better this time. IT’S CHICO TIME (3) could be the main danger. With decent placed form of late and a win at Toulouse in late October. SEVENDAY (4) is unexposed and his lack of experience and a recent run might count against him, but he has plenty of talent.

SELECTIONS
SKYLIGHT BROCHARD (1) – IT’S CHICO TIME (3) – SEVENDAY (4) – MAROON SIX (2)

Summary: IAMICHOP (1) has been in top form of late and was a pleasing second at Mont-De-Marsan when last seen in mid-November at Mont-De-Marsan. SPEEDY RECORD (2) could be the one that gives the selection the most to think about. He arrives after a good second at Deauville 13 days ago. ICONIC STARS (8) has placed form and has dropped in the weights after a few unplaced runs of late. He can make the frame. KRUNGTHEPMAHANAKON (10) heads the remainder.

Summary: GABIJA (11) returned to some kind of form when she was fourth over 2400m in a Class 4 handicap at this track 9 days ago. She has dropped in the handicap and is the tentative selection ahead of LE RAFALE (13) who was one place ahead of her when they met in the same race last time. The drop back in trip might suit the former best. ROYAL ETINCELLE (4) won over track and trip last month and can feature. PEDROZIO (3) makes up the shortlist.

Summary: PAS RADINE (2) has been performing well without a win for some time. She was a decent third at this track and trip on her latest start late last month when beaten around one length. She can get a deserved success. PUERTO MADERO (4) has eased in the ratings recently but is more than capable of making an impact. BELINSKOV (3) is also one to keep safe after his fourth last time in the same race the main selection was third in, on December 29th. TWIN BOY (10) is another to respect.

SELECTIONS
PAS RADINE (2) – PUERTO MADERO (4) – BELINSKOV (3) – TWIN BOY (10)

Summary: A small field and none of them can safely be ruled out from winning this opening event. SWEET CHOP (1) is knocking very hard at the door and does seem to set the standard for the race. VALMACCA (4) has won her last two starts and has every chance of completing a hat-trick. LAWLIET (5) is improving and ran well over this track and trip. LADY WINNER (3) won on the turf in November and is not out of it trying the PSF this time.

SELECTIONS
SWEET CHOP (1) – VALMACCA (4) – LAWLIET (5) – LADY WINNER (3)

RACE 6: DE LA PERDRIERE MAIDEN STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM DEAUVILLE RACE 2) – 1900M – TIME: 23:38 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000

Summary: STRUNG AHEAD (13) only found one better on the day over this course and distance on debut last month. She should be smarter this time and is the one to be with. THREE PEARLS (7) showed improvement last time out at Chantilly and will be a danger. PRETTYLADY (5) has been consistent so far and should contest the finish again. CODICE (8) did not run badly on debut an would not be a surprise winner.

SELECTIONS
STRUNG AHEAD (13) – THREE PEARLS (7) – PRETTYLADY (5) – CODICE (8)

RACE 7: DE LA BARELIERE MAIDEN STAKES (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM DEAUVILLE RACE 3) – 1900M – TIME: 00:13 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000

Summary: TALAKAN (1) finished his debut off very nicely and with that experience should prove hard to oppose against these rivals. ZODD (4) clearly has potential and was not disgraced in both starts and will fight out the finish again. SAMWEST (5) is improving and will not be in the maiden ranks for too long it appears. MY SECRET LIGHT (8) has been doing well on this surface and is another to consider.

SELECTIONS
TALAKAN (1) – ZODD (4) – SAMWEST (5) – MY SECRET LIGHT (8)

RACE 8: DU SARCOPHAGE MEROVINGIEN HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM DEAUVILLE RACE 4) – 1500M – TIME: 00:48 PRIZE MONEY: EUR25000

Summary: LARMES D’OR (12) is knocking very loudly at the door and her recent runner-up effort in a handicap suggests the win was achievable very soon. LEWIS GREY (2) is consistent and only found one better at Chantilly so will be a solid threat. COUNT ON ME (9) ran well on this surface last time out and has an obvious winning chance. HACQUEVILLE (3) won a claimer last time out but is not out of it.

SELECTIONS
LARMES D’OR (12) – LEWIS GREY (2) – COUNT ON ME (9) – HACQUEVILLE (3)

Summary: TOKYO DREAMER (8) showed up well last time out and a repeat performance should see her in the firing line. TRUE TEDESCO (5) has got useful form in stronger race and could be ideally placed to grab the honors here. COSMO BEAU (4) isn’t a particularly reliable sort but can have a say in the outcome. LE ROCKEUR (1) was rewarded for consistency with another victory and despite having a couple weight turnarounds to worry about, he can certainly win again.

SELECTIONS
TOKYO DREAMER (8) – TRUE TEDESCO (5) – COSMO BEAU (4) – LE ROCKEUR (1)

RACE 10: DE L’AIGLE HANDICAP (FIBRESAND TRACK) (FROM DEAUVILLE RACE 6) – 2500M – TIME: 01:58 PRIZE MONEY: EUR27000

Summary: MADAME DE SAXE (12) has been close up at her last two outings and seems to run well for this young rider. She could have her day to shine and get that overdue second win. ALONZO (1) remains a maiden after nine attempts but may be in the right type of race to win. SINDIA (3) won a solid race last time out and with her confidence on a high, she could reel off a hat-trick. SALMA (2) finished behind Sindia last time out but finds herself 3.5kgs better off at the weights which could swing things in her favor.

SELECTIONS
MADAME DE SAXE (12) – ALONZO (1) – SINDIA (3) – SALMA (2)
