PRICELESS TREASURE has speed in both sides of her pedigree and should be fast. FIERY COUNTESS has run two fair races and should have every chance against inexperienced individuals.

LITTLE LEXI didn’t enjoy going further last time. She should bounce back to form and receiving weight from SHEETS AND GOGGLES could make the race a thriller. OH YOKO has run some fair races but has also disappointed. She could take advantage from gate No 1. TUNE AGAIN is speedy and holding form. She should be right there. ULOVANE made his debut on the Highveld but returns from a long break.

OFFICIAL SECRET is weighted to win and should be hard to beat over the extra after dropping in distance. LADY SILVANO is one from one over the course and distance. She was well clear of OFFICIAL SECRET in the Lady’s Bracelet and needs to be taken seriously again. EPIKLEROS is a consistent sort that has run well over the course and distance. She could be in the fight in this kind of contest. MEDLERS TART has battled in recent times but is very capable on her day.

Race Summary: GRAND OASIS has the form needed to win over the course and distance. He has drawn well too but is carded to run on the 31 January and that run must be scrutinised. CHILI BOMB finished ahead of GRAND OASIS when the pair raced on the Highveld. The well-bred Lancaster Bomber gelding has also run well in KwaZulu-Natal and could make a winning local debut. BROOKSIDER would have found his last race a bit short. He should come on stripping fitter in his second start after a rest. BRIGHT FUTURE, VELVET VALOUR and HOUSE OF SUSSEX all have earning potential.

Race Summary: COULDITBE had things go wrong in her last start in the Western Cape. She is capable of a lot better and may just be looking for the Polytrack. SEPTEMBER FLOWER won well as the form choice last time. She is by One World out of a Dynasty mare and has scope for further improvement over the extra. FLIGHT DISPLAY wasn’t hindered by a wide draw as she produced a solid finish to win after a rest. She could have more to come. CANFORD QUEEN is a bit better than her last run when well behind the former. She could go close back over this 1600m. QUERANDI and THREAD OF LIFE can earn.

He has been a steady improver but it may be that the Polytrack will unlock further improvement. Mare GET IT DONE is best in at the weights and after being denied in a close finish could go one better, but has drawn widest. There shouldn’t be much between stablemates LEGAL THRILLER and MEETATHEWINDSOR.

Race Summary: LOVEGRASS impressed on local debut after having been well backed. She must have more to come and jumps from the best of the draws. On riding arrangement the stable elect is YOU WIN AGAIN. The Twice Over mare was beaten as odds-on favourite last time but can make amends in her third run after a rest. JAMBO SANA can’t be discounted. She was on a roll, winning two in a row, before her saddle slipped last time. She nevertheless ran a decent race. IDITA gave signs last time she could be on the comeback trail. STRANGE MAGIC is capable of better.

Race Summary: IGUGULETHU has run two decent races in a row. He produced a strong finish last time but has drawn a bit wide and will need the race run to suit. TRAVEL MASTER ran some cracking races in defeat and then lost his rider last time out. He has won after a rest before and must be taken seriously. Stablemate COASTAL PATH is going for three wins on the bounce and if overcoming his wide gate could get there. GLOBETONIC and DECREE won in good style last time out and need to be respected along with BOSNAY, who should have every chance from gate No 1.
