He can go one better stripping fitter this time. Deputy Chief came in for sup-port and caught the eye on his return and rates the dark horse now switching back to turf. Vencedor is holding form and has earning potential along with Parliament Square and Twocantango.

Race Summary: Trainer Paul Lafferty has two in the race with chances. Got The Fever appears a few lengths better than her last run and overall has the form needed. She has, along with stablemate I Won’t Give Up, been given time off and both may show much more this time. Glorious Butterfly has been running on well in her races but has again been given a wide draw to overcome and will need a bit of luck. La Vida Loca needed her last race and could take advantage stripping fitter this time. She looks to have found her last race too far and should enjoy this shorter trip. Promise Of Fire has scope.

Race Summary: Wide open start to the first leg of the Pick 6. Mexican Pete has the ability to win a race like this even if his recent form doesn’t look good. He has the best of the draws. Trois Trois Quatre could finally get his head in front having dropped in distance. He needed his last start. Kitchakal didn’t run badly from a wide draw last time but needs things to go his way. Capsaicin should earn again. Last One Standing must be better than his last race on the poly. Johnny The Thief and Famous Warrior have claims too.

Race Summary: Captain Oliver is still learning what it is all about. He is consistent and even though having drawn widest he could still get the job done. There should be a decent pace with a field of this size and horses such as gutsy maiden winner Uzwano, honest, capable but off form Flyingcool and Banzai Pipeline could also benefit. The Mikado held form even though switching to poly last time and rates a serious threat back on turf. Fortune Hunter is a maiden that should get better with racing. He has shown something but has a wide draw to overcome.

Race Summary: Many try the track and trip for the first time and this is set to be an interesting race. Slytherin could be a nice sort in the making. He ran on well to win his maiden and could take the step up in class in his stride. Plaza Accord has not been far off in tougher contests and could get his confidence boosted. Palermo should not retire a one-time winner, he showed up again even though dropping in distance and from gate No 1 must be taken seriously. Phaka Imali ran out an easy winner of this trip at Hollywoodbets Greyville. Ibutho has dropped in ratings and could upset.

Race Summary: Another tough race. My Boy Lollipop for the second time didn’t shine on the poly but back on turf should show his true potential. He looks to have the pedigree to relish the distance. Numzaan has been backed in his last two starts and has turned in bold bids on the poly. He looks to be better on the turf and can get rewarded. Stars In Heaven goes for a hat-trick of wins. He looks well placed for another good finish but is racing after a break. Rooster Bradshaw won well having strengthened up and with Immah (may enjoy the extra) is open to improvement.

She is well weighted and has drawn better this time. Lady Of Vix may have needed it and should prefer the slightly shorter trip. Ayuwi Yuwi is also capable of better and needs to be respected. But there are males in the race. On recent form Ibhele could be rounding into best form and has a fair chance of adding to his tally. More can upset.

Race Summary: One Smart Cookie is in good form and looks well placed to notch up her next career win. Emerald Green disappointed after an amazing performance in her previous start. She has the best of the draws and could bounce back to best. Tara Star is another capable of a lot more. She lost form recently but may enjoy racing toward the outside of the track and she can make the exotics pay. Colorado Creek is in good form but is dropping in distance from her last start. Still she must be respected along with Rafeef’s Choice (rested) and Ubukhwebezana.
