Race 2 No 11 MANAGEMENT FOLKS
A slow start severely impacted his chances last time out, forcing him to be ridden early to stay in touch with the field. Despite this setback, he still found the line strongly in the straight, finishing 2.25 lengths behind the winner in third over 2000m.
The step up to 2200m plays to his strengths, and with just 118lb on his back, he must be considered a strong contender.
Race 8 No 2 AURORA LADY
His unplaced run last start is best overlooked, as he failed to see out the 1400m trip and weakened in the concluding stages. Additionally, he pulled up with post-race respiratory distress.
The drop in distance and return to Happy Valley are both positives, making him a serious contender this week.

Race 4 No 6 NEW POWER
He was last seen producing a fast-finishing fifth behind the talented HONG LOK GOLF at Sha Tin in early January. Since then, He has trialled impressively leading up to this week’s race and looks a strong contender as he returns to Happy Valley, the scene of both his career victories.
Race 7 No 4 STURDY RUBY
In a slowly run race last start, he was forced to settle of the speed from a wide draw, before letting down impressively in the straight to finish second over this track and distance. With a more genuine pace this week, he is poised to go one better, given his consistent form recently.
