Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
(10) DRAGON KILLER has raced twice for a 2nd and a 3rd at 1200M and 1300M. He has proven able to come from off the pace so the wide draw shouldn’t be a problem, and he has every chance of breaking through here. The danger is (7) MUNHAK BELL. She was an improved 2nd at start number two over this distance on January 5th when settling midfield and running on. She comes in fresh following twelve weeks out and will similarly be running on strong. (4) ALL NUT raced three times up until last June with a best of 3rd place at 1300M. She hasn’t raced since but looked well in a trial earlier this month and in this company can be backed on a place line first-up. (8) SUN CATCHER and (9) BITNARA others who can improve.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
(2) SEOBU SKY could only manage 6th when sent off as favourite at start number two having bumped at the start and then got trapped wide. We’ll draw a line through that and instead go on his solid 3rd place on debut and with the extended trip today possible to suit, he is worth another chance. (4) JUNMA FORCE has a 5th and two 4th place finishes from three outings so far. She has been doing her best work late on so she is another for who the slight step up in distance can favour and is the main danger. (11) DRAGON FANTASY was an improved 3rd at start number four on March 1st and while he has the challenge of the widest gate, can be there or thereabouts again. (3) JILJU CHEONHA and (6) GWANAKSAN CHECK IN among plenty of others with at least place chances.

Seoul Race 3: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
Fillies and mares only here. (2) PURGE STEP was a winner on debut in a filly only maiden at 1300M in January before running a fair 4th on March 1st on her first try at this class and distance. She draws well here to sit just behind the speed, and she can return to winning ways. (10) ARCH DAY is yet to score in seven attempts and actually comes up in class here. Nevertheless, she has five top five finishes and won’t need to improve much on her showing when 2nd last time out in order to challenge here. (1) BIG BRIDGE is similarly a maiden but with no fewer than ten top five finishes from twelve starts and very nicely drawn, she can be an each-way chance. The up in class (5) FLYING LION, along with (3) HERO JILJU, who needs a line through her latest, are others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
Competitive race. (10) MR.STORM got his maiden win at start number four on February 15th when leading all the way over this distance. He is up in class and along with the wide draw, he doesn’t get much in the way of a weight drop, but the manner of that win suggests that there can be more to come. (4) WANGCHOEGO is yet to score in eight attempts but has had plenty of near misses including as runner-up at this class and distance two outings back. On that effort he shapes as a big chance here, settling midfield and running on. (2) HAKSAN CAIRO is another maiden who has placed at this class and distance as recently as February, He has a smart finish on him and can run into the money again. (3) GOOGOO and (1) YONGBI TAEYANG are others in the frame.

(4) MIGHTY BOM is yet to win in fourteen attempts but has come close on several occasions including last time out on February 23rd when he stepped up to this distance for the first time and came from well off the pace to run 2nd with a few of today’s rivals behind him. The stable is in form and today can be his day. (6) JISAN FORCE got his maiden win at start number three over 1400M in January before stepping up to this class and distance for the first time in that February 23rd race and running a fair 5th. He should have derived benefit from that experience and can get closer this time. (7) SPEED CARA was 4th in that same race and can match or better that today (2) PLAN B and (10) CHEONGRYANGSAN others in line for the minors.

(10) UGWANGMYEONG is a winner of two from three starts so far, most recently over 1300M on February 22nd when coming from off the pace. That brings him up rapidly in class, but he carries a light weight, the wide draw shouldn’t be a problem, and the extended trip can suit. He is the one to beat here. (4) RAON JEWELSTONE showed the perils of being so quickly promoted after winning her first two only to run down the field on her first try at this class on February 8th. She comes into a much better gate today and can be given another chance. (7) AWESOME BRAIN will also need to be forgiven her latest at 1700M, but she comes back to a trip at which she has won twice, and she can be in the mix. (3) ARA MOA and (6) GEUMAK MYEONGJANG others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
After winning a trial, (1) WHIZ REALITY ran out a comfortable winner on debut on February 22nd, leading every step of the way over this distance. He carries his fair share of weight here but doesn’t have to come up in class and from the inside gate, he can lead again and can win again. (5) YEONGWON BIG MAN has a 3rd and a 4th in his two starts back from a six-month absence. He is a winner at this distance, Moon Se-young climbs on for the first time, and third-up he can be peaking fitness wise. That will mean overturning the form on (6) LUCKY FRANK who beat Yeongwon Big Man when winning on February 9th. Lucky Frank mixes his form but in this company he can be on pace and in this a long way. (8) BOREUM DALBIT and (9) CHEONGUCHAT are others to consider on a place line.

Seoul Race 8: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
Very competitive race. (6) REAL DEAL has been very consistent across six starts so far, only missing the top three when tried in Listed company as a juvenile last October. He comes up in class after a 2nd and a 3rd from his latest two, both at this distance, but that brings him down a full 4kg in weight, and he can win here. He will need to overturn form on (1) DAEHEUNG CLASS, who beat him when the pair ran 2nd and 3rd over this distance on February 16th. Daeheung Class has since followed up with another 2nd, at this class, on March 8th and still lightly weighted and well drawn, is a big danger. (9) BEOLGYO VERITAS is a winner of five from twelve including last time out at this class and distance on March 1st. He is up 3.5kg in weights but a repeat shouldn’t be ruled out. (8) SINUI YEOJE and (4) HANGANG PERFECT among plenty of others in the hunt.

(5) BLUE PIORA is yet to win in five but has finished between 2nd and 4th on every occasion, all at this class. She draws well to be on pace, CC knows her well, and today can be here day. (2) CHANGJOUI ACHIM beat Blue Piora when the pair ran 2nd and 3rd at this class and distance on February 22nd with a few of today’s rivals behind them. He likes to settle back and come from off the pace and Ruan Maia, who has ridden him to both of his best results, stays on. (8) PROCEED was a class and distance winner two starts back and while he is up 5kg from that mark, he can be competitive in this company. (3) BEOLGYOUI STAR and (11) LUCKY BOOM are others who can be in the mix.

(6) SINUI EREUM led for much of the way around at this class and distance on February 22nd and while he ultimately had to settle for 2nd, he did beat a few of today’s rivals. He enters under the same light weight, he draws well to lead again, and this time he can go all the way. (9) LUCKY PARTY could only manage 6th place in that February 22nd race but two starts back he beat Sinui Ereum when the pair ran 1st and 2nd at this distance at class 3 level. He remains lightly weighted and warrants another chance today. Last year’s Korean Derby winner (3) EUNPA SARANG had a poor day at the office on his first start of the year in January but he is a winner at this class and his ability isn’t in doubt. (5) JEOMSUNI GO and (7) CHEONGSAN YEONGUNG others in the frame.
