This blockbuster sprint has attracted some of the fastest horses from both Western Australia and across the nation, all converging on Ascot this Saturday for what’s shaping up to be a red-hot edition of this showpiece event.

WESTERN EMPIRE is flying the flag for the locals and looking sharp first-up. A slick trial win has him ready to fire, and with fresh legs and home-track advantage, he’s going to take some serious beating.
GENEROSITY has been ultra-consistent this prep — a metro winner at Ascot and placing in every other start. She’s tough, honest, and absolutely in the mix.
OVERPASS the king of the Quokka. He’s won the first two editions of this race and is back to try for a historic three-peat. Last start, he was fresh in the T.J. Smith Stakes and boxed on bravely to finish just off the winner. He’s fitter now, and still the one they all have to chase down.
